The challenge

MAGRABi is trusted for clinical clarity in the store. Online was a different story — an app, a website and a store network that each held part of the customer, none of them the whole picture. A prescription bought online wouldn’t show up in the store; a fitting from the store wouldn’t follow to the app.

The solution

We came in alongside MAGRABi’s Chief Digital Officer to blueprint the whole surface — commerce, mobile and in-store — as one system with one view of the customer. Product strategy, technology architecture and regional operating discipline in one plan.

Proof of work

What the customer actually experiences.

Reference imagery drawn against the same brand system the programme ships against — not a client screenshot, but a faithful reading of the surface.

The direction we took

Where we pointed the work.

A single diagram, drawn from the programme, showing how the strategy actually lines up — where it converges, where it stays plural.

How we shaped the work.

Step 01
Reading the market
We looked at how eyewear customers in the UAE and KSA actually buy — how they browse, when they book, what happens between the online browse and the in-store fitting. The strategy reads back what the customer already expects.
Step 02
A roadmap that names its priorities
We drew a product roadmap with sequenced milestones and a technology stack chosen per surface — with product, design, project and engineering leads all working to the same plan, in-house and external.
Step 03
What actually shipped
A commerce platform that carries the brand, a mobile app that carries the appointment, an in-store layer that carries the customer file — all on a foundation that can absorb the next shift without being rebuilt.
Outcomes

What reached production.

One customer
The prescription bought online now shows up at the store
On-the-go
Browsing, appointments and after-care carried through the app
Store-ready
In-store operations backed by the same customer file
AI-native, today

From omnichannel to anticipatory care.

Rebuilt today, prescription lifecycles, appointment scheduling and after-care follow-ups would run ahead of the customer rather than behind them — with every customer-facing action still passing through the same clinical review the store already applies.
